- 21 Apr 1946, Letter of Grete Rind in Zagreb to Rind family in Seattle.
"Just think, Mr. and Mrs. Stampf from Ruodolfov have come home but without their four children, how can a mother's heart endure that? From their letter we learned of the tragic end of our poor Auntie Lorie. She was deported with the Stampfs and on the fourth day, in Theresienstadt, she succumbed to the strain and was buried there. Mrs. Stampf was with her the whole time. . ."
